What You'll be doing

Reporting to the SVP of Engineering, you will be part of an exciting Augmented Reality team that will see you working with our technical engineers and support operations’ groups. As the Engineering Manager, you will be leading a team of 8+ engineers on various projects dealing with, technical and operational matters. This role offers the opportunity for a challenge with lots of growth potential.  Main responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

Work with the Product Management team to produce or revise roadmaps based on company goals.

Work with the engineering team to scope new or revised features, writing user stories, and helping define acceptance criteria for tasks. 

Act as product owner for Augmented Reality mobile and/or web apps, 

Help engineering team with prioritization of work requests. 

Oversee development of new and existing AR apps and related 3D services from conceptualization through planning, launch, and maintenance.

Work with the Product Management team to come up with technical solutions that align with strategic goals. 

Conduct interviews for new hires, reviews for existing team members 

What you will bring

3 years of management experience as an Engineering Manager and/or 7+ years of management experience as a director 

Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum and tools such as Jira 

Experience launching apps in the Apple App Store and Google Play store 

Experience managing web apps or SAAS products 

Experience managing the entire software development lifecycle
